I was able to convince Kia to give me the keys to a base model with the 2.0L turbo engine and just one option (active safety package). Instead of a “stripper” model that I was expecting, the base Stinger is an incredibly good value. It’s loaded with enough standard features that it makes a compelling cross-shop for top-end Camry and Accord shoppers looking for more excitement in their daily drivers. It’s also an excellent value when stacked up against base luxury vehicles like the Lexus CT, Audi A4, BMW 320i, Infiniti Q50 or Mercedes CLA.
