2019 Infiniti QX50 Review

Crossovers are hot in America. Over the last year and a half nearly all of Infiniti’s competition has released a new or significantly refreshed crossover. We have sporty entries like the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Porsche Macan. Value options like the Acura RDX and crossovers focusing on high-end luxury like the Mercedes GLC and Volvo XC60. Into this highly competitive segment comes an all-new QX50 with an entirely different take on a CUV. Instead of RWD like the last model, we get a FWD based vehicle. Instead of targeting sports sedan driving dynamics, this one has a huge cargo area. Infiniti is also taking a bit of a gamble by equipping their [soon to be] most popular vehicle with all of their latest tech including their steer-by-wire system and the only CVT in this segment.
