Kia has renamed the Optima into the K5. That’s the moniker used in other global markets including Kia’s home market of South Korea. Now, the car formerly known as the Optima has been turned into a sportier midsize sedan with a lineup of turbocharged engines including a 290-hp mill on the sport-tuned GT model.
