2023 Ford Maverick Tremor: Today, Ford has pulled the wraps off of the new Tremor Package for the Maverick compact pickup. This package was first seen on the F-150 and adds off-road-oriented upgrades that make the trucks more suitable off the beaten path. In the case of the Maverick, those upgrades include: ground clearance increased to 9.4″, skid plates, ‘Trail Control’, a locking differential, Falken Wildepeak 235/65R17 all-terrain tires, and improved approach/departure angles (30.7°, 22.2°, respectively). The package will only be available on XLT and Lariat trims with the 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder. All in, the full package will cost you $2,995. Ford will also offer a Trmor Appearance Package that brings the visual upgrades without the mechanical ones. It will go for $1,495.
“Ranger, F-150 and Super Duty customers have embraced the unique off-road capability, technology and appearance updates found across our Tremor family of trucks,” said Todd Eckert, Ford truck product marketing and brand manager. “Maverick Tremor delivers on this same promise with new functions and features designed for off-roading – all while keeping the truck’s signature size, affordability, and Built Ford Tough durability and capability.” Production for the package begins this Fall, though the automaker hasn’t stated an on-sale date. Expect to see these on dealer lots by the end of the year.
