Like its brother, the Chevy Silverado HD, 2024 brings a multitude of updates for the Sierra HD. Where do those updates lie? Well, under the hood, we have two updated powertrains, two new trim levels, a much-needed rethinking of the interior, as well as thoughtful new trailering features that bring it more closely in line with the refreshed 1500 model. The 2024 GMC Sierra HD is also the most spacious and luxurious heavy duty domestic truck.
The new Denali Ultimate trim is an exquisite comeuppance for the dreadful interior of the outgoing model, with real open poor wood, beautiful Alpine Umber leather, and an excellent infotainment system powered by Google. We don’t have pricing details just yet, but expect the numbers to stay close to the outgoing model, while that Denali Ultimate (which can be had on 2500 and 3500 models) could vey likely hit $100k. A hard-core off-road AT4X trim will arrive later in 2023, while the rest of the lineup should start hitting dealer lots in Q1.
