The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus has been leaked thanks to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. We have seen an increasing amount of future models come out of this registry, as manufacturers who intend to sell in China must submit their products to this government institution for approval, and it is all public information. This is the latest instance where an all-new vehicles has been uncovered thanks to these submissions. The current Lincoln Nautilus dates back to 2016 when it was still known as the MKX. So, it is about time for a full redo of this generally popular luxury crossover.
As you can see, there are a few key design elements to take away from the photos and pages uncovered. The front end takes some inspiration from the Zephyr sedan, while the roofline has a descending arch to it like the Aviator. The rear end also borrows that model’s full-width taillight array, though its edges share a similar shape to the Zephyr’s. According to the submission, there are at least four wheel designs, three grille treatments, three roof color treatments, and a few other variations to he exterior design. The 2024 Nautilus will likely have a sporty blacked-out version as well as an ultra-luxury Black Label version. Unfortunately, interior photos are not part of this leak.
Whether or not this generation actually makes it to the U.S. remains to be seen. Ford has already said that its platform mate, the Edge, is reaching the end of its life in America soon. Will this follow suit? More on the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus here.
