Kia’s Middle-Child Mid-Size Sedan | 2021 Kia K5

Kia apparently hasn’t gotten the memo that sedans aren’t “in” anymore. For 2021, it has doubled down on its midsize offerings with the K5, the car formerly known as the Optima. That means Kia now has three(!) midsize sedans in its lineup: the K5, Cadenza, and Stinger. The K5 is the third Kia sedan to offer AWD; however, it’s only available on the LXS and GT-Line grades. We have the EX and GT-Line variants to see if the K5 has the goods to take on the strongest rivals in the class.
