Today, Lexus released a photo teasing an upcoming variant of the LC 500 coupe, with the ‘F’ logo projected behind it. This sent the industry scrambling, as the ill-fated LC F must be back from the dead! Alas, Lexus later confirmed that the model in the shadows is actually a new Inspiration Series LC model. You can see it has a bulging hood and a rear spoiler, leading some to believe it could also be a GT3. Either way, it sounds like the ‘F’ logo was misleading. The only piece of the puzzle missing is the answer to why the post was captioned “Highest expression of performance”, with race drivers Jack Hawksworth, Ben Barnicoat, Aaron Telitz, and Frankie Montecalvo all tagged. The large, boxy and electrifying Kia EV9 concept previews the next member of the “EV#” family, which was inaugurated by the EV6. Now we know that the production model will, in fact, be making it to the U.S., thanks to Motor Authority. After speaking with numerous Kia executives at the 2022 New York Auto show, the outlet discovered a few key takeaway about the U.S. production EV9. It will look 80%-90% like the concept, will hit 300 miles of range, and go on sale during the second half of 2023. This and a potential EV-truck would serve as premium vehicles in the lineup, with the “America’s Best Value” slogan no longer part of the equation.
