The Lexus LF-1 Limitless still has not made a transition to production, but there are now reports of another Lexus crossover on the horizon. Alongside the previously reported on Toyota Grand Highlander is going to be the Lexus TX. There have been various insider leaks and rumors over the years, with the latest claiming the TX will be a large 3-row unibody crossover. The RX L has served that role in the lineup, but its third row is practically unusable, so a larger replacement will be welcome. More details here.
The Mazda MX-30 is a low-range, quirky small electric crossover that has failed thus far to convince many people that it makes financial sense. It starts at $33,470 but is only available in California and can only go a mere 100 miles between charges. That setback is about to be remedied by the addition of the long-rumored rotary range extender variant, which has been confirmed by Mazda. Not only is this BMW i3-inspired option coming to fruition, it is coming to the U.S. More on this here.
