There is a large community of car people who will die on the manual transmission hill, claiming there is no substitute for rowing your own gears and being one with the car. Unfortunately for them, the manual transmission’s days are seriously numbered. There are heroines out there, however, who want to keep the classic stick shift alive in some form. We already have automated manual transmissions, but Ford wants to take that technology a step further.

After Toyota shared its master electric vehicle plan last year, many were left yearning for more info on the plethora of shiny new vehicles previewed in the announcement. DS, a spinoff of Citroen, released a concept car back in 2016 called the E-Tense, which was a hyper-styled, sporty coupe that looked pretty awesome. Fast forward to today, and an update to that concept adds an electric propulsion system and begs the question, will Dodge’s eMuscle benefit from its tech?
