Even though the S90 is only about a year old Volvo decided to make some big changes. All American bound 2018 S90 sedans will be 5 inches longer than the 2017 model putting the formerly-mid-sized S90 closer to some full-sized luxury sedans than the the Lexus GS. At the same time they dropped a new 400 horsepower plug in hybrid system under the hood and topped it all off with a new rear seat package that again blurs the lines between mid and full size sedans. The one thing Volvo didn’t really change however was the price tag, the S90 is still one of the best values in this segment and with the addition of nearly 5 inches of legroom it’s also the roomiest European option.
