2022 Acura MDX First Look

Acura’s best-selling model is finally getting redesigned! The 2022 MDX follows the new TLX sedan in the styling and interior front, as hinted by this near-production prototype. In the powertrain department, the MDX will retain its naturally-aspirated V6 base engine. The new MDX will also get a new Type S model powered by the same turbocharged V6 from the upcoming TLX Type S, marking the first time an SUV gets to don the storied badge. As always, Acura’s SH-AWD system will be offered.
