With the 2019 Silverado Chevy focused on improving fuel economy and practicality with new engines, new fuel saving tech and the biggest pickup bed in the industry. Unfortunately Chevy seems to be leaving some cash on the table by not taking this opportunity to join Ford and RAM in making high-end luxury versions of their 1/2 ton truck. In focusing on core pickup truck values, Chevy could be accused of not seeing the way the wind is blowing in this segment with more and more truck buyers not using their trucks for farm or work duty.
