Cadillac Releasing Three New Electric Cars in 2023

A Cadillac executive recently confirmed in an interview that three new electric cars will be revealed by the end of this year, with serial production on all of them beginning in calendar year 2024. What will those models be? Well, we don’t really know too much so far besides potential names. We can also use the process of elimination to determine what body styles the could be. For starters, one of the potential three has been spied winter testing, so we should expect at least one to wear the large crossover outfit you see here. We know Cadillac trademarked a bevy of new model names that will be used on its impending lineup of electric cars. This started with the Lyriq and Celestiq, but up next could be any of the following: Lumistiq, Vistiq, Ascendiq, or even Escalade-IQ. Yes, an electric Escalade is coming.

The other two models could either be a crossover smaller than the Lyriq or a sedan less opulent and exclusive than the Celestiq. Cadillac has not leaked any pertinent information to base these speculations off of, but they have shared one important nugget of info: these models will be built for the global stage. None of them will be exclusive to the North American market, so some may be built here while other aren’t. It would benefit the company to have as many of these EVs built in North America as possible, thanks to the changes put in place by Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act. We will just have to wait and see how this pans out.

More on the upcoming Cadillac electric cars here.
