The baby Genesis has only been around for three years, but the 2022 G70 manages to make the first-year G70 look dated. 2022 brings a version of the G80’s striking design on the outside, new infotainment systems inside, and a host of other tweaks. Unlike the also-refreshed Kia Stinger, the base model sticks with the 2.0L turbo with 250 horsepower. The 3.3L twin-turbo V6 sticks around, but I’m surprised Genesis didn’t offer the new GV70’s 2.5L and 3.5L powertrains. If the Stinger can do 50% of the work, why can’t Genesis go all the way?
