Genesis X Convertible Concept Debuts

The third installment in the Genesis X concept family, the Genesis X Convertible continues to prove that the company has both a strong imagination and vision for its future. A four-seater with a long hood and a stealthy hard-top, this is a pretty interesting looking car. If Genesis were to build a true convertible, they would have a pretty strong foundation with this concept. The Genesis X Convertible will be debuting at the Los Angeles International Auto Show alongside the Electrified GV70, despite rumors that we would be seeing a concept of the highly-anticipated GV90 electric SUV.

“It is the normal development of Genesis to increase the athletic and emotional facet of our design philosophy by creating an emotional trilogy: the X family,” said Genesis Chief Creative Officer Luc Donckerwolke. “Innovation is the catalyst to becoming more engaged with the environment around us. We are in the process of transitioning Genesis into a company that will deliver products for customers to enjoy.” Whether or not any of these X concepts make it to production remains to be seen, but certainly expect to see details from these cars make their way onto vehicles that do come come to fruition in the future.
