We take the Mach-E on a road trip to Los Angeles and put the CCS charging network to the test. Unlike Tesla’s closed-loop network where the company controls the whole infrastructure, we found the CCS network to be more like a patchwork quilt due to different companies making the cars and chargers, and another set running the latter. It works, just not as elegantly.
