So Close To Greatness | Acura TLX First Drive Review

The 2021 Acura TLX promises an exciting driving experience. Featuring a new turbocharged engine, a unique suspension setup, optional adaptive dampers, available SH-AWD, and an upcoming Type S variant, the components are there for a proper sports sedan. Is the TLX really one though?

Larger than its replacement, the car now occupies a pace between the compact and midsize segments similar to the Cadillac CT5. The new TLX is also heavier, which could negate the standard engine’s added power and torque.
