The “Trackpad” Is Finally Dead! | 2022 Lexus Infotainment Deep Dive

Not a fan of Lexus’ joystick or trackpad-based systems? I was also never a fan of ‘Remote Touch’, nor was anyone else. For 2022, Lexus is finally rolling out an all-new touch-based system in the NX and LX, with other models to follow as they get refreshed or redesigned. With it comes much, much larger screens and excellent Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. You should, however, try to give the native system a look before mindlessly activating those 3rd party systems. It is a lot easier to use than before, so let’s take a closer look.
