The Scion iA is essentially the sedan version of the all-new Mazda2 hatchback, which we won’t be getting in the USA. For some reason the new 2 is being sold in Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico but the only version we can get our hands on is the Scion sedan. To help differentiate the iA from any future Mazda2 sales in the USA, the front end gets an enormous trapezoidal front grille and some “Angry Birds” headlamps. Out back, the Scion’s rear is less disguised with a strong Mazda influence in the tail lamps blended with a hint of Camry.
