Kia’s soul has always been one of the most practical, well priced, and best equipped subcompacts in America, but it’s never been particularly swift. Until now. For 2017 Kia fitted a new 201 horsepower turbo engine and a 7-speed dual clutch transmission to their faithful hamster. The result isn’t a Volkswagen GTI, or a Fiesta ST but it is by far the most fun Soul ever built and it’s still extremely well priced.
