The 2021 Nissan Rogue has arrived and it’s looking like a major improvement over the outgoing model. Featuring a new look with tiered headlights and a boxier, more upright profile, the Rogue prioritizes practicality first and promises to be one of the most family-friendly vehicles in the compact crossover segment. Under the hood is the same 2.5-liter four-cylinder found in the Nissan Altima but this time it’s rated for 181 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque. A CVT remains the only transmission. FWD is standard on all models while AWD is available as an option.
On the tech front, Nissan has given the 2021 Rogue its latest and greatest. The new multimedia system is available with a 9.0-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay on upper trims. ProPilot Assist has also been upgraded and now uses navigation data to anticipate upcoming turns on the road, allowing the car to slow down when approaching it. Every model except the base S grade has a surround view camera system but the more expensive variants get a higher definition one. Sitting above the SL trim is the new Platinum trim, which promises a more luxurious experience thanks to the diamond-quilted semi-aniline leather upholstery and additional tech features like a head-up display and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.
