This was bound to happen sooner or later. The 710-hp, supercharged Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat has finally arrived as your three-row cruise missile. Unlike the Challenger and Charger, there aren’t many cues hinting at this behemoth’s power. A Hellcat badge on the front fenders and tailgate and a different hood are your only tell-tale signs that this isn’t your average Durango.
Like the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, the Durango SRT Hellcat is AWD, which means it’ll be quicker than its rear-drive coupe and sedan counterparts. According to FCA, you and five friends should hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds. You better act quickly, though because the Durango SRT Hellcat is only a one-year special. Why? It won’t meet new future emissions regulations.
