Here’s the Refreshed 2023 Lincoln Corsair

Here’s the Refreshed 2023 Lincoln Corsair: Today Lincoln pulled the wrap off of the refresh of one of its most popular models, the two-row Corsair. Based on the Ford Escape, the Corsair replaced the MKC back in 2019 and offers multiple engines, including a plug-in hybrid known as the Grand Touring. 2023 brings a host of updates, including a standard 13.2-inch display that replaces the old 8-inch unit. A revised lower dashboard area is joined by new interior colors. There’s also the introduction of Lincoln ActiveGlide, their equivalent to Ford’s Blue Cruise hands-free driving suite. ActiveGlide 1.2, as it is officially titled, allows for Lane Change Assist, Predictive Speed Assist, In-Lane Repositioning, and Intersection Assist 2.0.

Unfortunately, since basically no one upgraded to the 2.3L turbo 4-cylinder, Lincoln has axed it from the lineup. This leaves the base 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder and the 2.5L plug-in hybrid. The former produces 250 horsepower through an 8-speed automatic and front- or all-wheel drive. The latter makes 266 horsepower exclusively with all-wheel drive and can go about 28 miles on electric-only power. Updated pricing includes $38,690 for the Standard trim, $43,075 for the Reserve trim, and $53,385 for the plug-in hybrid Grand Touring. Corsair is in production now at the same Louisville, KY plant, and will go on sale in early 2023.
