2019 Acura ILX First Drive

For 2019 Acura didn’t redesign their compact sedan, but they did give it a new look to bring it inline with the rest of the family and they doubled-down on the value proposition with a lower price tag and more equipment. Does that make the ILX the best in the segment? No. But it does make the ILX a good deal if you’re looking for a small luxury car with high projected reliability and low long term costs. It also is a reasonable upgrade from a mainstream compact sedan for a first-time luxury buyer. The eternal problem is: I think the extra $10,000 to get the Audi A3 is worth it.
