2019 Nissan Altima First Drive

Nissan pulled out all the stops with their latest Altima. Whether you’re looking for the latest in turbo engine technology, loads of standard features, or affordable all-wheel-drive, the Altima has a great deal going for it. Yes, you read that right, AWD is now an option. Unlike other midsized sedans that gave offered AWD, Nissan decided to make it a $1,350 option on any trim including the base model which rivals the Subaru Legacy for AWD base model value. Nissan decided to toss in their latest safety gadgets, CarPlay and Android Auto, and some next generation zero gravity seats for good measure. The result leaves the Maxima in the dust and provides an interesting alternative to the Camry and Accord. Can it beat the Japanese competition? Maybe, depending on what you’re looking for.
