2020 Lincoln Aviator First Look

With seating for 7 and 400 HP standard, the new Aviator is exactly the crossover Lincoln needs right now and the first real American competitor to the RWD luxury crossovers from Europe since the Cadillac SRX turned into a FWD Lexus RX competitor. Power comes from a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 under the hood sending power to the rear wheels via the same 10-speed auto as the Navigator. AWD is optional and you can also get a 6-seat interior with second row captain’s chairs. Inside it’s mini-Navigator all the way which is an excellent choice and if you want something a bit punchier, Lincoln has a 450 horsepower plug in hybrid that cranks up a whopping 600 lb-ft of torque. When’s it coming? “mid 2019” we’re told.
