2020 Toyota Supra | A Legend Returns or A Me-Too Coupe?

The 2020 Supra isn’t just a blast from the past, it’s an honest-to-goodness Toyota sports car aimed directly at the Porsche Cayman. All the essentials are there for the Supra to be a hit. Inline 6 engine? Check. Rear wheel drive? Check. Small roadster proportions? You betcha. A sprinkle of BMW DNA? Why not? That’s the biggest complaint from Supra purists, but I see that as an asset, not a detriment to the Supra’s street cred. Let’s find out why.
